WAFA SC is a Football Academy, based in Sogakope Volta Region, aimed at developing talented African youth aged between 12-23 years in their own environment and help them get a future, either on the field of play or in the African society. Football, Education and Health care are our most important targets.
With high class facilities, such as: Training Pitches, Artificial Turf, Educational Facilities, Football Administrative Facilities with IT Equipment, Dedicated Internet Connection, Restaurant, Accommodation for Players to stay all year around, ICT Laboratory, Gym just to name a few.
The Academy has a team playing in the Ghana Premier league and can also boast of players like: Christian Atsu, Bernard Mensah, Harrison Afful, Joseph Amoah, Ernest Asante, Lassana Coulibaly, Solomon Asante, Nana Akwasi Asare, Mohammed Awal, Mohammed Abubakari, etc. who are playing in Europe and other African countries and the various National Teams in Ghana.
