Overseas Warehouse Ghana Limited (OWL) is an agrochemical distribution and warehousing company based in Accra and with a strong presence among farmers in all farming regions in Ghana. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of African Tiger Holding Limited (ATHL), just as its sister company IWAD Ghana Ltd. which specializes in the production of hybrid and OPV soya and maize seeds over a 400 ha irrigated facility located in Yagaba in the Mamprugu Moagduri District in the North East Region of Ghana.

OWL is a unique company in the agricultural landscape in Ghana that focuses on novel active ingredients mainly in the cereal (rice, maize, soya, etc.) and cocoa industries in Ghana. OWL inherits its experience in the Ghanaian agricultural space from its Wienco Agriculture origins.

Its top of the range and innovative crop protection solutions are highly regarded by farmers, both commercial and small holders.

In its current portfolio, OWL has products on insects and pests, glyphosates and fertilizer for maize, rice and other cereals, as well as products for the control of black pod in cocoa. OWL in collaboration with its research and development partners have developed and registered top of the range products for cereals production in Ghana.

Norpalm Ghana Limited

On 10th March 1983, Prestsea Oil Palm Plantation under the State Farms Corporation was converted into a Limited Liability Company and assumed a new name – National Oil Palm Plantation Limited (NOPL). It took over the assets and liabilities of the State Farm Corporation.
Norpalm Ghana Limited (NGL) was established in Accra, Ghana on 29th October 1998 as a vehicle to acquire the assets of NOPL and started operation in March 2000. The company is located in the Ahanta West District of the Western Region of Ghana.

Currently, NGL is jointly owned by Norpalm AS (57.21%) and African Tiger Holdings Limited (42.79%). The company is managed by a team of multi-disciplinary experts under the stewardship of the Board of Directors.
Since 2000, NGL has seen a lot of investments in both the Plantation and the Mill. NGL has a nucleus plantation of 4,300ha and processed its fresh fruits at the company’s 30tph palm oil mill. The company produces an average of 20,000mts of Crude Palm Oil and 1,800mts of Palm Kernel Oil per annum. NGL currently sells its products to downstream refiners and exporters.

In December 2016, NGL became a certified member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), an organization responsible for promoting the growth and use of sustainable oil palm products through credible global standards and engagement of stakeholders.

ZAINA LODGE

Zaina Lodge offers luxury accommodations in Mole National Park, A community wildlife destination. Mole was reserved in 1958 after Ghanaian independence and then gazetted as a national park in 1971. Fed by the Lovi and Mole rivers, over 90 mammal species have been identified within the park. These include, but are not limited to: elephant, waterbuck, kob, bushbuck, hippo, warthog, water buffalo, hyenas, and baboon. A large number of birds and reptiles can also be seen.

Being the first luxury Safari lodge of its kind in West Africa, there are many firsts to our credit, right from the rooms to the food and to the safari experience. The surprises unfold each day.

All 25 rooms are individual luxury tented chalets, complete with private balconies and indoor and outdoor showers for those who like to bathe under the stars.

The menu comprises of global cuisine and is customized on a day to day basis by our chefs. Should there be any dietary needs, we ensure to take care of those as well. Our specialties include: Pan Asian, Indian , European and of course traditional Ghanaian cuisine.

We have four specially built four wheel drive vehicles for safaris and community tours at the Larabanga mosque, Mognori village and Damongo market visit on Saturdays.

Integrated Tamale Fruit Company (ITFC)

Integrated Tamale Fruit Company (ITFC) is located in Gushie, 45 km north of Tamale, the capital city of the Northern Region. Incorporated in 1999 under Ghana Company code, ITFC’s activities currently are the cultivation, nursing and marketing of grafted mango and mango seedlings as well as the promotion of indigenous species of trees. ITFC operates a nucleus farm alongside with an outgrower scheme and an ultra-modern drying facility and processing factory.
All operations of the nucleus farm and its ultra-modern nursery are GlobalGAP (Good Agricultural Practices) certified. The nursery has the capacity to produce 90,000 healthy and vigorous seedlings per year that can withstand the harsh environmental conditions in Sub-Saharan Africa.

ITFC has a modern drying facility and processing factory, which currently processes fresh mango into dried mango slices and chunks for both export and the Ghanaian market. The drying facility is certified Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) as well. ITFC’s drying facility is registered with the Ghana Standard Authority (GSA) and the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) of Ghana.
